Tickets to FoodCon 2017 include a light breakfast, a delicious lunch of small bites from four local caterers, and an afternoon snack. We have the Triangle covered with caterers from Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh and Cary.
Durham’s Core Catering, affiliated with the Duke Divinity School, will provide breakfast, delicious lunch options, as well as our afternoon snack. Core Catering is known for creative menus using healthy, local ingredients.
The Root Cellar of Chapel Hill will be serving delicious small bites for our “moveable feast” luncheon. Formerly Foster’s Market, the Root Cellar is known for creative items using locally sourced ingredients.
Snap Pea Catering and Underground will also be contributing to the feast. You will find Jacob Bohem, founder and chef, on hand for the panel discussion of “Sustainable and Diverse Business Models.”
One of our sponsors, Sassool, managed by Kenan-Flagler alum Simone Saleh, will be preparing Mediterranean lunch and dessert options. Simone will also moderate the panel, “Big Local: Making Local Food Go Big.”
